Today we had group tutorials which involved a discussion about the PPD module and taking a look at the way people had presented their blogs and documented relevant work.
As we looked through mine, I realised how confusing and unclear it is to navigate really. Some of the posts are just reminders for me and I haven't written about the work that I have posted, stated or critiqued its relevance. Blog posts are just labelled PPD2 on my normal blog and some of them are labelled with other projects.
I feel blogging for PPD throughout the year has been a good process for me but I feel starting a new blog and reblogging posts, labelling relevantly and updating what I haven't blogged yet will be much better. I think I will benefit from looking back at what I have looked at and thoroughly critiquing and documenting.
Although, as I have been blogging PPD since the beginning the year, when I re blog on here the dates are going to be all muddled. I will write the date of the original blog post at the top so its easy to understand the order of when events and things occurred.
I haven't yet blogged about any of the work experience I have gained such as Messages Across Leeds, Pyramid of Arts and volunteering at the Multi Arts workshop as well which is some of the most relevant work I have done!
I need to reflect and evaluate what I have learnt throughout the year including the way I work, projects, skills gained, good/bad experiences, where I am now. Has the 'penny dropped'? What projects/moments have been pivotal? What has helped me come to decisions about what I want to do? What kind of work experience do I want to gain? What is relevant? How will I get to where I want to be? Where does my work and practice fit into the real world?
